    DESCRIPTION
    Alphos-40 is a clear colourless sterile solution containing phosphorus equivalent to 79.4 mg of elemental phosphorus. This elemental phosphorus is the actual basic active ingredient that the body needs and hence its level in the blood stream rises more rapidly and is sustained for a greater length of time when compared to bound phosphorus. As the energy-trapping agent, it is the main source of energy to the body, being present as high-energy phosphate bond in ATP.
    INDICATIONS
     Reproductive failures, delayed maturity, silent heat and low conception rates
    Post parturient haemoglobinuria and pica, rickets & osteomalacia
    Metabolic disorders such as milk fever, & Downers cow syndrome
    Low milk yield, loss of appetite
    Stary coat, lameness, fractures, stress and exhaustion

    DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
    Cattle, camel and horses : 7.5 to 10 ml
    Sheep, calves and goats : 2.5 to 5 ml
    Dogs and cats               : 1 - 2 ml
    To be administered by slow intravenous or subcutaneous injection daily for 5 days or on alternate days for 7 days. In chronic cases ½ the dose on alternate days.
