Tetranil
20 powder contains Tetramisole HCl B.P. Vet 20%w/v. A highly acceptable
and nematodal drug because of its wide range of activity covering a
large number of hosts (Sheep, Cattle, Horse, Chicken, Dog, Pig etc.,) |
MODE
OF ACTION
Tetranil 20 is soluble in water and is rapidly absorbed and transpoted to different
parts of the body. By interfering with the energy source (ATP) of the worms,
TETRANIL 20 brings about paralysis of the worms irreversibly.

LIVESTOCK Anthelmintics: Gastro intestinal nematodes such as Haemonchus
spp., Ostertagia Spp, Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Bunostomum spp.,
Trichuris spp., Ascaris spp., Stephanofilaria spp., Lung worm Dictyocaulus spp.,
Metastrongylus spp.,
SWINE: Nematodes of G.I. Tract like Ascaris spp., Hyostrongylus spp., Strongyloides
spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Uncinaria spp., Trichris spp.,
DOGS: Toxocara spp., Toxascaris spp., Ancylostoma spp., Uncinaria spp.,
Dirofilaria spp.,
HORSES: Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi.,
ADMINISTRATION:
TETRANIL 20 can be administered or mixed in feed or as a drench
DOSAGE
TETRANIL 20 is to be administered at the rate of 1 gm for 15 to 20 kg. Body
weight
(10 to 15 mg if tetramisole per kg body weight).
