RAFOX BOLUS A RELIABLE FLUKICIDE AGAINST BOTH MATURE AND IMMATURE WORMS COMPOSITION Each ml contains: Rafoxanide B.P 300 mg DESCRIPTION Rafox is a white coloured bolus. MODE OF ACTION Rafoxamide disconnects mitochondrial reactions involved in electron-transport associated events from ATP generation (uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation). This uncoupling action is lethal to liver flukes and blood-sucking helminths like Haemonchus. INDICATIONS Cattle & Sheep : Against Liver flukes - Fasciola spp. (both adult and immature), Haemonchosis, Bunostomiasis and Nasal bot. ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE Sheep and cattle : 1 Bolus for 40 Kg body weight orally(7.5 mg of Rafoxanide / Kg body weight). Further administration may be needed at four or six week interval if fluke infestation is high. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD slaughter :28 days Milk from animals under treatment to be discarded PACKING 10 x 10 Boli in a carton
